My artistic practice is a space for experimentation and manual work based on photography and the body.

I seek to remain close to the photographic material, its limits and possibilities, allowing chance, gesture and imperfection to participate in the construction of the image. I seek to accept what occurs through analogue processes and to allow photography to retain the traces of its own transformation. I work by embracing accidents and moments of loss of control. I manipulate film and images through overexposure, deterioration, alteration, layering and different printing processes. Error ceases to be a defect and becomes a possibility for transformation.

I am interested in exploring the body, the skin, nudity and desire, as well as the relationships they establish with the spaces we inhabit: territories and ecosystems that, for me, are also other bodies. I am interested in eroticizing the image beyond normative conventions and in observing how the body can experience space through freedom, pleasure and vulnerability. In these shifts, body and environment can become indistinguishable.

I move almost entirely away from color because this decision transforms my relationship with the visible. Black and white functions for me as a unifying element, but also as a transformer and a creator of other realities.

I explore other techniques and forms of production that allow me to take the transformation of the image into other dimensions, extending photography towards installation and turning it into a spatial and material presence.
