Johan and... why do film photography?
Film Photography, expired and Xray exposed film - 2023 development of a 2015 series
I see one and a hundred times the same photos that I have taken years ago, the films speak differently each time.
For this series I have always used the color digital photos, never used the film ones because I found them too noisy pr perhaps I was dazzled with the color and forgot about the Film.
I realised this year that I have never exploited the grain as I would have liked over this photos and they have a lot to tell: The negatives were expired, ISO3200 and were mistakenly run through an X-ray machine at the airport.
The result looks better than ever to me.
Is this another project?
Sometimes the body seems to be ready for the cold and adversity of the mountains, there is no mystique in the exhibition, there is no shock. Sometimes the nudity flows and mixes with the barrier of vanity, as if the model went out to the mountains to take the photos that he will show in his modeling portfolio.
What I tried with this model was to take advantage of how comfortable he was and precisely show how ironic his comfort and his tranquility where.
