The bodies arrive cold to the mountain, asleep, slow, they do not approach, but they have complicity when it comes to move, they dare to fight and explore from camaraderie to eroticism. Legs, arms, heads, penises, buttocks, feet, hands, etc. a game of trust and mutual recognition or the approach to group sexuality allowed by the anonymity provided by distance, solitude.
The mountain is to them what the intriguing "The Piers" in New York were once to some of New York's homosexuals in the early 1980s. I, for one, still don't know if this is an homage to the almost anonymous Alvin Baltrop or to Mapplethorpe's celebrated eccentricity in his Polaroids. I do know that there is a lot of them in my head when I dare to postpone this moment for eternity with my camera.
Nudity is a tool of honesty, nothing to hide, nothing to lose, it is perfect to meet and play. Naked we easily play as children, and just as easily we become adults during the nudity. Only by dressing up we manage to hide our desires and truths.
